Who Give's a Scrap!

This is my little space in the world to sit back and enjoy life and scrapbooking. I will showcase my LO's photos, life and so much more. Sit back and enjoy and as you read and comment you become one of my "Blog Reading Diva's!"

Prima Paper

Okay I know some of you are tired of hearing about my aversion for the Prima papers, LOL. But I had to post about it today on my blog. I am including a photo for all to see. Now no offense as this is just not my taste paper so if you love it I am apologizing now for any offense I may cause but all I have to say about this paper is BLECH! I wanted to gag when I saw it after my much anticipated waiting on getting it. Okay so I was so excited when I got the package I ripped it open immediatly just to have my heart sink. The quality is not the greatest, it has a weird smell and the colors make me want to gag. Now a few of the sheets of paper are okay and I will try to do something with those as I am challenging myself to at least complete one LO with them since I spent a pretty penny on them. I love my new Prima Flowers, but I am thinking Prima needs to stick to flowers and not create paper, LOL. Oh and this picture doesn them more justice than one can tell. They really do not look so bad in the picture but in real life they remind me of something my Grandma would have made a quilt out of in the 70's and we aren't talking one of those pretty ones either, LOL

I second that opinion,, double YUCK! that is why I stick to BG, chatterbox and scenic route, I can close my eyes, buy their paper and know it would be great when I see them.

I think I have to agree with you Amy. At least using the photo as a guide ... stick with flowers, Prima ... you've got those down-pat!

I haven't even seen any of this yet...until now! Kind of reminds me of when I first started scrapbooking, don't think I want to go back there...hehehe

LOL! Love your honest take on this paper! It definitely doesn't look like it's up to the quality of other stuff these days. My current faves are BG (always!!) and Heidi Grace. Going to my LSS this weekend to check out all her new stuff, so I'm sure I'll be having some new favorites!
