Scraptathalon week 4
Okay so here is my LO for the Week Four Challenge of the scraptathalon. Sorry my photo is so poor. I was unable to get a really good photo with all the shiny elements. This LO only qualifies for 35 of the available 50 points was I an actual contestant. The two parameters I was unable to follow are 5 points for using a hand cut cursive title and 10 points for using only two colors. But I did meet these parameters to make up my 35 points.
10 points for doing a LO on an important time in someone's life~ I chose to use Caden's first day of Kindergarten
5 points for using photo corners for something other than a photo~ On the lower left hand side I made a pinwheel out of photo corners
5 points for using three or more different stickers~ The button looking things are stickers along with the item I used as a ribbon slide.
5 points for using something organic on my LO~ I stamped the all smiles diecut with an actual apple half. I know it is really hard to tell, but I really did.
10 points for using something on my LO than it's actual intended use~ I used a pencil as an embellishment on my journaling block.
Also I wanted to let you know that this LO was partially done at the Scrapbook Expo class I took on Wild Asparagus and distressing. I wasn't in love with their actual design so I gave it my own spin. There is a second page that I will be posting once it is complete. Hope you all are having a great day. For those of you involved in the Scraptathalon event you are doing a superb job!
