Got this from one of my email groups. I am so sad!
For those of you who sub or were considering subbing to this magazine, read the following. I just found out about this on a message board....sad! I really like this magazine!
I really wish it was a rumor. It's a very sad day for us at Scrapbook Answers. If you want to let people on the message board know, you are welcome to post this reply, including my name.
We found out today that our company, Future Inc., is closing Scrapbook Answers. Unfortunately, it was a decision that was arrived at based on the overall company's financial situation and recent changes in the overall company business strategy. It's not in any way a result or reflection of Scrapbook Answers' success or our reception in the market. Scrapbook Answers has been as successful as we had hoped, meeting all newsstand sales goals since our launch, and growing our subscriber base in the first year much faster than we anticipated. Not to mention the fact that Scrapbook Answers is a wonderful, useful, good-looking magazine that our readers adore. Sadly, this means that November 2006 marks the last issue of Scrapbook Answers. As you can imagine, it was a very sad, really terrible, day here at the office. All of the SBA editors and art team poured their hearts into this magazine, not to mention working so hard to make it the absolute best publication we possibly could. We couldn't have done it without the wonderful groundswell of reader support and positive reception.
